Young Democrats from across Florida and the Southeastern United States celebrated the largest FYD Convention in a decade.

FYD is looking forward to 2010, getting Democrats elected, and working with some of the best progressive leaders anywhere. We heard from Democratic leaders Kendrick Meek, Alex Sink, Dave Aronberg, Dan Gelber, Loranne Ausley, Charlie Justice and many more! This was a great way to prepare us for the hard work ahead!

The Florida Young Democrats is a political group with only two membership requirements — that you be under 40 years old and declare yourself to be a Democrat. FYD is focused on several goals: campaign work, issue advocacy, community and public service, and encouraging youth involvement at all levels of the Democratic party.
